Certified Public Accountant

 Marion received her Economics degree from Wofford in 2007 and a master’s in accounting from Gardner-Webb University. She has been preparing taxes in Polk County since 2010. Marion is an active volunteer. She has served on non-profit boards and chaired hunter paces. She lives in Columbus with her husband and children.  

Senior Accountant  

Stephanie has over 18 years of small business and non-profit bookkeeping experience. She has also served as treasurer for her church in years past. Stephanie lives in Rutherfordton, NC with her husband. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and 3 beautiful grandchildren.  

Senior Accountant  

Shane specializes in individual and business tax preparation with 5 years of tax experience and over 20 years in a small business environment. She brings a practical, detail-oriented approach and an understanding of the challenges small businesses face. Shane is currently seeking an Enrolled Agent certification and has earned degrees in mass communications and accounting. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, travelling, and enjoying the outdoors. 

Senior Accountant

Cortney earned her master’s and bachelor’s degrees in accounting from Gardner-Webb University. She has over ten years experience in the accounting field, and she worked for Blake Smyth, CPA for the past eight years.  

Office Administrator

 John joins the firm with thirty years experience in the hospitality industry. With experience in QuickBooks Online and advanced computer skills, he hopes to use his knowledge to assist the firm by enhancing client experiences. He enjoys cooking, birding and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
